So it was off to the House Of Blues (Hollywood) Friday night to see The Psychedelic Furs....
I was much relieved to find that they are still as good as ever (too often you have that 20-years-past-thier-prime pathetic-ness)...probably better than i thought...
Managed to sneak my recorder throught the security...wish i would've brought an extra disk....while waiting for the valet to get our car a very drunk Mark McGrath comes up behind us singing "Heaven"....one of the most humorous things to happen since i got here...

Adventures In West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills

So I went down to the Whisky A Go Go thurs night to check out gODHEAD again...they were good...well worth the 10$ parking and 12$ admission...i hadn't seen them since Ozzfest 2001....plus i got to tape this time.....the singer from Stabbing Westward's new band was one of the openers and John 5 from Marilyn Manson's new band was the headliner...I had to leave before they played...since i was up at 330 that morning to open the store....
Yesterday, me and D went to Beverly Hills...which is the most silly place i've ever been...it's better than circus circus...
The reason: Taschen books was/is having a 3-day clearance sale...as we all know, they make the best art books out there..so i had to go and blow my tips on books...yeah!!!

Seems i've forgotten to tend to this...
been busy with the tarot as of late...previous to that it was the great mp3 conversion..
ripping my cds down to mp3, archiving them, then setting it up on my ipod...geeez..only took me 3 weeks to get through
the couple hundred i brought to L.A....too bad there's 600 back in the bad place...

Well, we're off into the half way point in the "ought" decade...
Glad to see the holidays over and done...lends to a return to "normal"
